We were right by Big Sur when we took these pictures. Our trip up PCH was really special, it was one of the things Matt and I had been looking forward to the most, and it did not disappoint. The roads were wild and curvy and the fog rolled in off the ocean.

I was really interested in the graphic motifs found in the flowers at the Balboa Park Botanical garden.

We went to Balboa Park in San Diego. We were to poor for the zoo (sad!) but we had a great time wandering around and going into other museums and looking at the architecture. The weather was great, not too hot, and we really enjoyed ourselves.
